Notification of Grant Funding Opportunity for Older Adults & Caregiver Services
Western Illinois Area Agency on Aging (WIAAA) will be releasing a competitive request for proposal on May 6, 2024, for Title III grant funded services for transportation, nutrition services (congregate and home delivered meals), legal services, and caregiver services to be furnished in one or more of the following counties: Bureau, Henderson, Henry, Knox, LaSalle, McDonough, Mercer, Putnam, Rock Island, and Warren.
All successful applicants must be a legally incorporated 501(c)(3) nonprofit, be affiliated with an institution of higher education, or be a government entity. Grants are procured for a three-year period. Successful grant applicants will receive the initial grant for federal fiscal year 2025 beginning October 1, 2024 and ending September 30, 2025.
Completed applications must be submitted to WIAAA by no later than 5pm on June 14, 2024. Interested parties should contact WIAAA at 309-793-6800 as soon as possible and state which services they are seeking funds for. In addition, all applicants will be encouraged to attend a bidder’s conference to be held at WIAAA on May 15, 2024 from 10am-Noon.
