Advisory Council

The WIAAA Advisory Council assists in planning for the needs of older adults in a ten-county area of western Illinois by providing valuable insight to the Board of Directors and WIAAA staff members. The Advisory Council helps identify community needs, determine priorities, and define agency goals.

We currently have openings on the Advisory Council in each of our three regions. We are looking for individuals who reside in the region to represent their area on the council. Region 1 is Bureau, LaSalle, and Putnam Counties. Region 2 is Henry, Mercer, and Rock Island Counties. Region 3 is Henderson, Knox, McDonough, and Warren Counties. Advisory Council meetings are conducted four times a year at the WIAAA office in Rock Island. Mileage is reimbursed.
