The Senior Computer Center (SCC) has nine computer work stations – one with a lap top computer. All computers are Internet accessible. Cost of the classes is $5.00 for one month. Classes are taught by volunteers from the area. Learners will have the opportunity to learn word processing, graphics, spread sheets, and you will also learn to surf the Web. Bring email addresses with you so you can email a friend.
The SCC was established to help seniors gain knowledge and confidence in working with computers. As participants learn skills, they may feel more comfortable in attending a computer class at one of the local colleges.
